The University of Vienna supports the mobility of staff members of the general university staff. The Erasmus+ staff mobility programme sponsors staff mobility. This mobility programme aims at providing university staff with the opportunity of gaining professional experience and meet international colleagues. It particularly supports those employees who want to complete training stays in connection with the strategic goals of the University of Vienna or the Center for Teacher Education.

A prerequisite for staff mobility is a minimum of 50 % employment at the University (employment contract is valid at least 3 months before and 6 months after the stay). The duration of the stay can range between 2 days and 2 weeks. We accept submissions until up to two months before the beginning of the stay.

The Erasmus+ mobility for administrative staff offers short term stays abroad (for example participation in a staff training week).
